Your customers' data

When you connect a store, Sellopod imports the order and customer details that store supplies. Depending on the store, this can include your buyers' names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers and order details, and, for some stores, the IP address and browser recorded at checkout and notes left at checkout.

We process this data on your behalf, to provide Sellopod to you. You decide which stores to connect and remain responsible for your customers' data, including telling your customers how you use it. If one of your customers contacts us about their data, we'll refer them to you.

Contact us at support@sellopod.com about data processing terms.

AI features

In-app AI features. When you use an AI feature inside Sellopod, such as asking the AI assistant a question, Sellopod sends your request and the account data needed to answer it to the AI providers Sellopod uses. By default the assistant uses Anthropic. Other in-app AI features, such as ranking 3PL shipments that may match a transfer, also send the records involved to an AI provider Sellopod configures. This can include personal data in those records, such as a buyer's name on an order.

MCP. If you connect an AI client such as Claude to Sellopod's MCP server, that client reads your organization's data over a read-only connection you authorize. The AI client and its AI provider are your own choice and work under your agreement with them; Sellopod's MCP server does not call an AI model.
